Gleeman and the Geek Episode 16

Aaron Gleeman and I talk about Joe Nathan's departure, how MLB's new Collective Bargaining Agreement could affect the Twins and disagree on the wisdom of signing catcher Ryan Doumit.

If you're looking for yet more audio, I'll also be on Fanatic Jack's podcast around 9:30 tonight (Wednesday). He's coming back from a self-imposed year's hiatus and is sure to have plenty of penned up thoughts.

Hate to be a pest. Can't you do anything about the blogosphere links. Isn't the purpose of the links to allow others to show what they recently posted? All I see is one person continually relinking his past articles so that they are on top.

Thanks for the heads up Anon. I often overlook that. I'll see if I can figure out what's up.

No worries. Glad I could help.

Doumit is 40% of Jason Kubel's cost, 1/3 the years, and 80% the production who can catch 2 games a week if needed. That's a good signing. I would like them to still sign Pudge, D-Lee, and Gomes or Andruw Jones (about $8 million total).
